What happens if I go over my monthly mentions?
Nothing stops. Extra mentions keep flowing and are billed at your plan's rate: $0.013 per mention on Pro, $0.01 on Scale. Set a monthly spend cap or turn extra mentions off anytime in settings, so there are no surprise bills.
How does Octolens filter out irrelevant mentions?
AI reads every mention with your company context and scores it high, medium or low relevance. It also adds sentiment and tags like bug report, feature request or buying intent. By default you're only alerted about high and medium mentions, so common-word brands stay usable.
Can Octolens find people looking for a product like mine?
Yes, when they ask in public. Track your category terms and competitor names, and Octolens tags posts that show buying or switching intent, like someone asking for an alternative to a competitor. It finds conversations. It doesn't scrape profiles or build contact lists.
Can I send mentions to Slack, my CRM, or my own tools?
Yes. Send mentions to Slack channels or email, push them to Attio with the native integration, or use webhooks and the REST API to pipe them into any other CRM, database or workflow. API and webhooks are on every plan.
Can I analyze mentions with Claude or ChatGPT?

How far back can I search when I add a keyword?
New keywords start with the last 7 days of mentions, so your feed isn't empty on day one. From then on everything is collected and kept. On-demand search lets you look up any term across the last 30 days.
