Octolens acts like a team member who reviews posts and determines their importance to your business. You likely don't want every mention clogging your inbox—only the ones that matter. Our AI assesses each post's relevance based on the context of your business and the needs of B2B SaaS. It assigns a high, medium, or low relevance score, and it also tags posts with sentiment and categories (e.g., buy-intent, customer testimonial, promotional). You can choose to receive alerts for all posts or just those marked as high or high and medium (default).

Yes! You can receive notifications for new mentions directly in Slack. You can also customize which relevance levels trigger alerts. For example, you might opt to be notified only for posts that our AI identifies as high relevance—such as those with buying intent, promising engagement opportunities, customer complaints, or praise.

We do not currently offer an API, but we do provide Webhooks. This allows you to send your mentions to various apps (e.g., email, CRM, spreadsheets, etc.). Our webhooks are also directly compatible with Discord. Additionally, you can use popular automation tools like Zapier, n8n, or Make to route your notifications to your app of choice.
