Providing company context helps Octolens understand your business, so the AI can better assess which posts are relevant to you. The more detail you give, the more accurate your results. You can edit your company information in your Relevance settings, located in the left sidebar of your workspace. Octolens uses this information to contextualize the posts it finds and assess their importance to your company.

What to fill in

Your company or product name as it appears publicly.
Example: Octolens

Octolens helps its customers find warm leads by identifying sales signals in posts.

Add your main product use cases so Octolens can better understand what your company does and what your competitive edge is.
Example: “Monitor brand mentions across social media and the web” and “Track competitor activity through social listening”

Your brand’s Twitter/X handle without the @ sign.
Example: Octolens

Your company’s LinkedIn handle without company/ prefix.
Example: Octolens

Industry

Enter the specific category or type that best describes your company within a broader classification.
Example: Social Media Monitoring & Social Selling

Sector

Enter the overall or broad category that best represents your company’s industry.
Example: B2B Marketing
The more context you provide, the better Octolens can distinguish relevant mentions from noise. This is especially important if your brand name is a common word. See AI Relevance & Tags to learn how Octolens uses this information.
