Webhooks, Reddit Comment Search, and Brand Mention Emails

After many requests, we've decided to release Webhooks as part of the Startup plan (originally they were part of Scaleup). Now you can connect Octolens with more apps and build workflows. Additionally, we now cover Reddit comments for your keywords—not just main posts—and deliver them to your feed within a minute.

We've also added "Viewed" posts so you can better track what you've covered, along with improved email categorization for easier navigation.

Now, you can connect Octolens with even more tools to build custom workflows tailored to your needs. Whether it's your CRM, automation tools, or messaging platforms, this update lets you manage and act on your social listening data where you need it most. Visit your notifications to set up Webhooks (now also part of the Startup plan).

We’ve expanded our Reddit coverage to include comments! Instead of just main posts, Octolens now captures relevant keyword mentions in Reddit comments and brings them to your feed within minutes. This gives you a deeper look into discussions happening on Reddit, helping you engage with users who may be discussing your product, industry, or competitors in more detail.

To make your workflow even smoother, we’ve added a “Viewed” status to posts, helping you see which ones you’ve already reviewed. The bookmark experience is also updated, making it simpler to return to posts you’ve marked as important. Additionally, you can now change relevance by clicking directly on the relevance level, so you can more easily adjust your engagement priorities.

We’ve revamped email notifications to include keyword categories. Now, each notification groups mentions by category—such as your brand, competitor mentions, or industry terms—making it easier to get a quick overview. We now also include up to 20 posts in an email.
